Thinking Beyond Borders - Translating Learning into Action

James Blake is hosting a cocktail reception and silent auction on August 19th, 2008 in Fairfield, Connecticut. Come out and mingle with James, Betty and Thomas Blake while enjoying some fabulous hors’ d’oeuvres. Renee Slajda, a local student from Beacon Falls who is also a participant in this year’s program, will be on hand to speak about her life experience and what TBB means to her.

Auction items for the event include signed memorabilia from James, Venus Williams, Andy Rodick, The Davis Cup Team and many more professional athletes. Also for auction will be tickets to the US Open, Red Sox-Yankees tickets, jewelry, wines, spa packages, makeup sessions, tennis lessons, and lots of other treats for your mind, body and spirit. Come spend an evening with The Blake Family and Thinking Beyond Borders and help raise money for our student scholarship fund.
