James Blake is hosting a cocktail reception and silent auction on August 25th, 2009 in Fairfield, Connecticut. Come out and mingle with James, Betty and some of the J-Block crew while enjoying fabulous hors’ d’oeuvres and free drinks. A TBB student will be on hand to speak about experience and lessons learned on the 2008-2009 program. Last year auction items for the event included signed memorabilia from James, Venus Williams, Andy Rodick, The Davis Cup Team, tickets to the US Open, Red Sox tickets, jewelry, wines, spa packages, makeup sessions, tennis lessons, and lots of other treats for the mind, body and spirit. This year we are working hard to match the amazing lineup of auction items. Come spend an evening with The Blake Family and Thinking Beyond Borders and help raise money for our student scholarship fund. We are very excited to bring this event back to the Fairfield community for 2009.
