The Program Orientation prepares you for two semesters of service learning and travel through South America, Asia, Africa, and the USA. You'll learn to travel in a culturally sensitive manner, communicate with people who don't speak your language, and immerse yourself in a new culture. You'll complete a health and safety training and engage in team building activities that unite your incredible and talented program group. You'll hold the first discussions of the curriculum and meet with your mentor to set your goals for the year. Together, you'll explore the cloud forest of Mindo with rainforest hikes, take a canopy tour, and go zip-lining!
