Thinking Beyond Borders - Translating Learning into Action

A vast and diverse country, India’s history is rich.  It reaches to the earliest human civilizations and features millennia of culinary, musical, religious, and political history that are evident in the daily lives of the peoples and places throughout the country.

The Taj Mahal was completed in 1648, commissioned by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.  Rise early to witness this majestic architecture at sunrise. Roam the grounds to take in the broad views and fine details of one of the most beautiful monuments in existence.

WomenTravel by train to Delhi and watch the countryside pass as the train moves along.  Tour the old city and the new city to take in their sights, sounds, tastes, and smells.  Travel north for day hikes through the foothills of the Himalayas.
